Definitions of Tactical Media

My tactical media project, a music video, is meant to bring awareness to the consequences of segregated greek life on college campuses. By coupling meaningful lyrics with melodramatic visuals, I plan to create a video that will go viral among college students across the nation. In the words of Patricia Aufderheide, I will be using "unclaimed resources to reclaim some expressive space". Overall, Dee Dee Halick's definition of tactical media is most applicable to my project. His view of tactical media as a mode to fight for justice to resist against isolation and alienation describe my video and its intentions perfectly.
